Count Basie + - Europa Jazz (1957)

I picked this one up at the thrift store this weekend and it really is quite good. Side A is Count Basie and His Orchestra at their finest.

The Dukes of Dixieland - Carnegie Hall Concert (Vol. 10)

This one is pretty good if you like Dixieland type music. The vinyl is pristeen so the rip is quite good.

Various - Battle of the Big Bands

I have to warn you that this album is a little rough but it's a nice compilation of Big Band greats doing their thing.

Teddy Wilson and His Trio - "Gypsy" In Jazz (1959)

It's a fairly generic jazz piece but I found it slightly enjoyable. Teddy Wilson's biography can be found at allmusic and it is quite impressive.

Big Band Jazz - Cassette #3 - The Smithsonian Collection

Ah! Thrift shop audio hunting is more akin to treasure hunting. In this trip I found tape #3 of ???. It's quite a nice collection if you like this sort of music and I really wish that I could have located the entire set.
