Perez Prado and Shorty Rogers - Voodoo Suite Plus Six All-Time Greats (1954)

Perez Prado (b. December 11, 1916, Cuba - d. September 14, 1989, Mexico City, Mexico) was a Cuban bandleader and composer. He is commonly referred to as the "King of the Mambo".[1]
In Mambo his orchestra was the most popular, his son, Perez Prado, Jr., continues to direct the Pérez Prado Orchestra in Mexico City to this day.

The Milt Raskin Group - The Exotic Sounds of Hawaii

This is a pretty solid effort from the Crown Records budget label. Nice lounge music with some 'Hawaiian' sounds thrown in for good measure. This one is also from my stash of ten cent thrift store albums that I picked up last week. Sound is pretty good but there were a few scratches on the album.

Buddy Sarkisan and His Mecca Four - Soul Of the East

One of our local thrift stores is selling off all of their albums for ten cents each so I picked up a large stack today, including this one. Not only is it a really good middle-eastern/lounge album but the sound quality is top notch. Enjoy!
